IAF Group C Vacancies

The Indian Air Force has announced job openings for Group C positions. These jobs include Lower Division Clerk, Hindi Typist, and Driver. There are a total of 182 vacancies: 157 for Lower Division Clerk, 18 for Hindi Typist, and 7 for Drivers.

IAF Group C Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Junior Clerk: Candidates need to have finished their 12th-grade or equivalent studies in any subject. Candidate should also be able to type in English at a speed of 35 words per minute.
• Hindi Typist: If you want to be a Hindi Typist, you must have completed your 12th grade. A typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi is mandatory.
• Driver: Applicants should have finished their 10th class from a recognised school education board. Candidates must have a valid driving license for either big or small vehicles. And 02 years of driving experience is also required.

Age Limit

The last day to submit your application is 01 September 2024, which is also the date used to determine if you meet the age requirements for the said vacancies. As per the rules, age relaxation is also provided to candidates who belong to OBC, SC, and ST.

Applicants who belong to the OBC category will have 03 years of age relaxation while the candidates from the SC & ST categories will get 05 years of age relaxation.

3. Locate the section related to recruitment. Within that section, find the application form specifically for Group C vacancies and download it to your computer.
4. Take your time and carefully fill in all the details requested on the application form.
5. Get a recent passport-sized photograph. Attach it to the form after signing it yourself (self-attestation).
6. Place the completed application form and all the photocopies of your documents inside an envelope.
7. On the front of the envelope, write clearly in capital letters: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [NAME OF THE POSITION] AND CATEGORY [YOUR CATEGORY]”
